T- Nerdin. The Babeock and Nerdin families were in Salt Lake Pioneer day to see the parade. Bingham LDS ward's Sunday night program honored Pioneers of Utah with songs and stories: the Boys' chorus, "Joseph Smith's First Prayer"; the Singing Mo-thers, "An Angel From On High"; group singing, "We Thank Thee O God for a Prophet"; a story, "Come, Come Ye Saints", by Howard Otteson; a hymn, "Come, Come Ye Saints", by the Girls' chorus; "For the Strength of the: Hills", Singing Mothers; "Story of the Seagulls", Gerry Pollock; Tribute to Utah Pioneers, Willa-dee- n Hodges; duet of organ and piano music, "O My Father", Mary Lou Lyon and Mrs. George Austin. Mrs- Edna Thomas was chorister, Mrs. Nora Austin or-ganist and Mary Lou Lyon the reader. Lt. Al Baker, who had a y leave from Fort Lewis, Wash., left July 24 to return to his post. With his family of Salt Lake City and his fiancee, Miss Ethel Richards, Lt. Baker spent a week at Fish lake. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Snow, formerly of Apex Mine, and their daughter, Pat, who attended the University of Utah last year, came from Battle Mountain, Nev., to attend services for Mr. Snow's sister, Dora Snow, 61, University of Utah faculty mem-ber, who died Saturday and and was on his way home to Anaconda, Mont. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Colby and children left last Saturday for Southern Utah where they will spend their two week's vacation visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Robert Burke and moth-er, Mrs. R. J. Tierney, returned home from California last Sat-urday. Ernest Arp, husband of the former Edith Leatherwood, re-ceived a medical discharge from the army and returned to Bing-ham last Saturday. They attended the parade, enjoyed a swim and a show. Mr and Mrs. Chris Bapis and family enjoyed the rodeo and a picnic in Ogden and Ogden can-yon Tuesday. Mrs. Joe Tibolla Sr. left last Saturday to visit relatives in Denver about 10 days. Lark Lions entertained Bing-ham Lions at a picnic Monday evening. Twenty-nin- e Lions and pai triers were served sandwiches, punch, coffee and watermelon in the Community Hall. Christie enjoyed Sunday after-noon at Saratoga. Mrs. Horace M Seal, Mrs. Dal-las L Draper, Beverly Seal and Joy Reading visited in Provo Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reading entertained Joy Reading and Beverly Seal at dinner and a show last Friday at Midvale.
