The opening night was a success from every standpoint. They returned to Bingham the first of the week, where they will visit relatives a few days until they find a suitable home, when they will go to housekeeping. M. Gauchat of the Maccabees lodge was in Salt Lake City this week attending the sessions ses-sions of the order. A number of other delegates from Bingham were also in attendance,. R. G,. Bee, the merchant tailor of Bingham, spent Sunday and Monday with his family in Provo. Dr. F. E. Straup of the Bingham hospital was registered at the New-house New-house hotel. Anderson, in Bingham for sever! days, left for the coast early this week; One of the most elaborate social affairs af-fairs of the past week took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Bogan Thursday evening, when they entertained the basketball team at -i five-course banquet. The rooms were decorated in the team's colors, Mue and white.. The supper table had as a centerpiece a white lace cover iver blue satin, on which stood a basket of blue cinerarias tied with a butterfly bow of white maline. Small caskets filled with blue and white Easter eggs and a souvenir were placed at each plate. The place cards also were decorated with hand-painted cinerarias. cin-erarias. The hostess was assisted in serving by Mrs. Croy and Miss Bogan. Principal Nielson and Coach Peterson acted aa toastmasters. Covers were laid for Thomas Wilson, John Dahl-strom, Dahl-strom, Elmer Knudsen, George Knud-sen, Knud-sen, Lawrence Stillman, Fred Turner, Arnold Geffen, Leonard Hyland, Severn Sev-ern Granquiat, Coast "Stubby" Peterson Peter-son and Principal Lars W.- Neilson. After the banquet vocal and instrumental instru-mental music was enjoyed until midnight mid-night when the guests repaired to the gymnasium to the "hard times" ball given also in honor of the Bingham basketeers. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Marriott of Bingham announce the engagement of their daughter Genevieve E., to Marshall Mar-shall S. Peace. The marriage will take place at an early date. Mrs. Charles Sullinger and children returned home Saturday of last week from a several weeks' visit with relatives rela-tives in Wyoming. Bingham lodge No. 72, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite .Masons, entertained enter-tained the provincial grand lodge officers offi-cers in the I. O. O. F. hall Friday evening of last week. After the meeting meet-ing the state deputy and adonite mistress, mis-tress, Mrs. Gertrude Gregor, organized a chapter of Scottish Rite of Adoption Adop-tion for Bingham, into which twenty-five twenty-five members were initiated. TremelHng expects to leave Sunday for a pleasure trip to southern south-ern California. She will visit friends in Long .Beach for a part of the time. Announcement of the engagement of Miss Genevieve Marriott to Marshall S. Pease was made this week by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Marriott. The wedding will take place in the early part of next week. They will spend their honeymoon in California. Charles Starkey arrived this week from, England after an absence of seven years. He is a brother of Joe and George Starkey of Copperfield.
