Show ROAD MAP OF WESTERN" PARKS ISSUER FOR 1.021 TOURISTS. Washington, Jan. 31 A map of the western United States, showing the National Park-to-Park . highw-ay has just been printed by the department depart-ment of the interior and is available for free distribution to motorists planning a tour of the national parks next summer. The map shows, besides be-sides the park-to-park highway and other main auetomobile roads, the location of the national parks and national monuments, Indian reservations, reserva-tions, government reclamation projects, pro-jects, national forests and military reservations. The National Park-to-i Park highway is about 6.00 miles in ! length and links togptr er in a great j circle tour Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone, Yellow-stone, Glacier Mount Rainier, Cra-jter Cra-jter Lake, Lassen Volcanic, Yosemite, General Grant, Sequoia, Zion, Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde national parks. It is termed the "master scenic scen-ic highv-- cr Ar,n-ica." A profile of the route, showing the altitudes throughout its --'-' length. is printed at the botti-i of the map. The National Highways association, it is anno'.incod, generously contributed contrib-uted funds for the printing of the map. : a |
