Show Milford Hospital Board To Hoar Annual Reports Next Tuesday The annual meeting of the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital Association will be held, in the basement of the Milford Library Buiding, Tuesday evening, Feb. 23, at 8 p. m. The Association owns and operates op-erates the Beaver County Hospital Hos-pital in Milford. The meeting is open to the public, it was announced by Mrs. Virginia Davis, secretary, but voting vot-ing is restricted to accredited delegates from civic, fraternal, religious and trade organizations as provided for in the articles of incorporation. Last week, at a meeting of the Board of Directors, Ashley T. Carpenter, Salt Lake architect, was engaged as architect for the association, and will attend the meeting. Mr. Carpenter was architect ar-chitect for the new hospital planned plan-ned at Kanab . A representative of the Utah Public Health Department has also been invited to attend the Tuesday meeting. Other business to be conducted conduct-ed at the annual meeting will include: Report of annual financial audit by John Stinton, public accountant ac-countant of Las Vegas; Report of patient load, purchases pur-chases of equipment, and report of gifts and Memorial Fund for the past year. Election of three new Executive Execu-tive Board members, replacing H. L. Tolley, president; Warren Johnson and Dr. John R. Mur-dock Mur-dock of Beaver, whose terms expire. ex-pire. No board member may succeed suc-ceed himself on the Executive Board. "It is urgently requested that all organizations be represented at this important meeting," Mrs. Davis said, "and all interested citizens are invited to attend. Remember, Re-member, this is your hospital, and its effectiveness depends on community support." |
