Show OBITUARY LAPREAL W. MANIZONE LaPreal White Manzione, 79 died March 30, at her home of natural causes. Born August 15, 1901, to George D. and Alice Gunn White. Married Joseph A. Manzione, September 8,1925 in the St. George LDS Tem -pie. He died Sept. 27, 1975. Active in the LDS Church. Served as an ordinance worker for 13 years in the St. George Temple. She served three years As Secretary of the Stake Relief Society Board. She graduated from Murdock Academy in 1917. In her early years she was a school teacher, and taught in Afton, Wyoming, Mlnersville Mlners-ville and Beaver schools. She was a correspondent for the Salt Lake Tribune from 1936 - 1962. While serving in this capacity it became necessary for her to cover the story of the murder of her son, Howard, a most difficult trial. She was a member of the Daughters of the Pioneers. Survivors: Sons, Joseph Jr.; Annadale, VA; Gordon of Tooele, Frank, Belle -vue, WA; Richard, Phoenix, AZ; Larry, Pittstown, NJ. She has 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers, William E., of Beaver and George A., of Ogden. Funeral services Friday at 11 a.m. in the Beaver 34th Ward. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday before be-fore services at Olpin Mortuary, Mor-tuary, Beaver. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery, under the direction of Ql-pln Ql-pln Mortuary, Beaver. |
