Show OBITUARY George H. Tait George Huntsman Tait, 83, of Enterprise, died in the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City September 17, 1975 of causes incident to age and complications following fol-lowing surgery. Mr. Tait was born in Cedar City, April 4, 1892, to Robert F. and Mary Edith Huntsman Tait, the second of ten children. chil-dren. He lived his early life on Cedar Mountain and inMt. Carmel, Utah. On April 1, 1919 he married Laura Sta-heli Sta-heli and they raised their seven children in Enterprise and Alamo, Nevada. One son, Glendon was killed in World War II. Mrs. Tait died December De-cember 3, 1966. In November Novem-ber 1967 George married Lillie Maude Slade in the St. George Temple and they made their home in Central, Utah. His principle occupation occupa-tion has been rancher and stockman. He was an active me mber of the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife Lillie of Central; two sons and four daughters, Ada Wilson Wil-son of Cedar City, Mrs.-Richard Mrs.-Richard (LaPrele) Banks of Milford, Mrs. S. E. (Mary) Banks of Enterprise, Mrs. Derlin (Barbara) Murray of Springville, Mel Tait of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, and Ferrol Tait of Enterprise. He has 29 grandchildren grand-children and 35 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister and one brother |
