Show MARILYN M. CHRISTY PASSES IN LOS ANGELES Marilyn Mastros Christy was born in Minersville, Utah, August 30, 1912, the eldest daughter of Delilah Banks Mastros and James Mastros. Her early life was spent In Minersville and Frisco, Utah. She attended school in Frisco until the school there was discontinued, then continued con-tinued school in Milford, but lived in Frisco until she married. After marriage she lived in Pioche, Nevada for a number num-ber of years and later lived in Lovelock for many years, thereby gaining a liking for Nevada. As she lived most of her adult life there, she learned to love the mountains moun-tains and the deserts. Although Al-though she traveled extensively exten-sively throughout our great country, and lived in many places, Nevada was beyond doubt, her true love. The last fourteen years of her life were spent in Southern South-ern California, where she was close to her brothers and sisters. Although in failing fail-ing health in recent years, she still managed to visit several times in Nevada and Utah. Surviving her are brothers and sisters; Joseph J. Mastros, Mas-tros, Montebello, Calif.; Wallace J. Mastros, Quartz Hill, Calif.; Violet Marie Seeger, El Cajon, Calif.; and Norma Helen Valetta, Garden Gard-en Grove, Calif.; also an uncle, un-cle, Randall Banks of Minersville. Min-ersville. Marilyn was formerly married to 'Buss' Hardy of Milford. Marilyn passed away In Los Angeles, Calif., July 8, 1974, and was interred in-terred in Rose Hills Memorial Memor-ial Park, Whittier, Calif., July 13, 1974. I |
