Show SERVICES FOR MRS. RAINES WILL BE HELD FRIDAY Rosary services for Mrs. Lucile Raines, 76, who died of natural causes at 1 a. m. Sunday, Sun-day, May 5, will be conducted ; i at 10 a. m. Friday, Fri-day, in St. Bridget's Bri-dget's Catholic Church, with Rev. J. H. Valine Va-line officiating. Mrs. Raines Mrs. Raines was bom Oct. 6, 1886, in Springfield, 111., to . Frank and Catherine Luts Loeser. She married James Albert Raines July 7, 1904, in Decatur, 111. He died Dec. 7. 1918, in Salt Lake City during the flu epidemic. She came to Milford with her two small children in 1919 and has lived here since. She first was employed at the Milford Mil-ford post office under Steve Stoker, and served as assistant postmaster for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Lady Firemen, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliray, and the B P W. She was a member mem-ber of St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Surviving are a son and a daughter, James Albert Raines Jr. and Mrs. Alvin (Audrey) Skillicorn, of Milford; seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Anna M. Grubb, Springfield, Spring-field, 111. Friends may call at the Southern Utah Mortuary from 7 to 9 p. m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Milford City Cemetery. |
