Show Dudley Gillies Buried With Military Honors Funeral services for Dudley Gillies were held in the Beaver , Second Ward Chapel on Thursday Thurs-day of last . week. The services were under direction of Bishop Chase Murdock, and the military portion was by Beaver Post No. 32, American Legion, with Leon Paice and Gene Barton as color bearers. Warr, John ' Ashworth, G e o r ge Valentine, Stanley Tattersall and George Robinson. Prelude and postlude music were played by Mrs. Clara Carter. The invocation was by W. W. Farrer. Musical numbers included ' a quartet, Kent Hansen, Sherman Carter, Kent Morgan and Hal Lund; and a duet, "In the Garden," Gar-den," by Mr. and Mrs. Hal Smith. A Bible sermon was given by Arlo Messinger, and Bishop Mur-dock Mur-dock offered appropriate remarks. Clyde Messinger pronounced the benediction. Joseph A. Manzione, past department depart-ment commander of The American Ameri-can Legion, dedicated the grave in Mountain View Cemetery. The military graveside services were directed by Paul Nielsen.
