Show , BIRTHDAY PARTY ; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jefferson issued invitations to a party of young people peo-ple to be at their home at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday night, June 6, as something some-thing unusual was going to happen to celebrate Alice Frizzell's birthday. All were requested to wear overalls over-alls and aprons. When the guests arrived, they found a truck ready to leave for the hills. Arriving at their "stopping place" the boys were sent for wood, long green sticks. The girls were busy taking the mysterious myster-ious boxes out of the truck. After a big bon fire was started, the boxes disclosed weinies and rolls. Shouts of joy arose, echoing through the hills. After the hot dogs were finished, fin-ished, games were played, then the crowd left. Arriving at Jefferson's, they found a buffet luncheon awaiting and a birthday cake with fifteen candles. The guest of honor received many lovely gifts. Those who enjoyed the events of the evnlng wre: Alice Frlzzell, Bessie Killam, Christy McLeod, Ruth Elmer, Alice Ward, Helen Ruth Ward, Margaret Brooks.
