However, the game did not begin until three thirty, because the Malad team was late in arriving. Bear River succeeded in getting a touchdown in the first part of the game. Evan Green and Gam Capener were the outstanding players in making this touchdown. After making this tounchdown Bear River seemed to slacken up, but they held Malad from making . any points. Both schools came very close to making other touchdowns but failed. The Bears will play Box Elder Friday. This is the first game on the regular football schedule. Mr. Walker is giving the football men some good training, and he hopes to have them in the best of condition for this game. The students are planning to go to Brigham Friday and give the team their support. Erma Lillywhite was elected president of the Agenda Club. Grace Sargent, who was elected last spring resigned in order to be editor of the Searchlight. The election took place Thursday. La Vera Manning, Ruth Fosberg and Erma Lillywhite were nominated for the position. The voting was carried out by secret ballot Erma Lillywhite was the successful candidate. Two yellmasters were elected. They are Faye Adams and Rhea Johnson. The committees that will be needed by the Agenda club during the year were also chosen. The Agenda Club vaudeville will be given on the 14th of November this year. Erma is already hard at work on it. The students are being organized into groups from the various communities to "put over" the vaudeville. Each community group will be responsible for one act.
