Carlson called . at the Magnussen's last Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Mr. J. E. House left for Calicntc,i after spending Sunday with his wifoj and daughter. Mr. Wm. Griffin, Mr. G. E. Griffin nnd family and Mr. and Mrs. Hal., Griffin spent Sunday with Mrs. J. B. Reynolds and son Burton. Word has been received thnt the! Meade's family will return to their I claim by April 1st. We are all glad! to see our neighbors return. I Mrs. C. M. Mngnusscn ig having a, well put down on her clnim for irrigation irriga-tion purposes. Messrs. Olaf Johnson John-son and F. T. Howlnnd nro doing the work. Mrs. Louis Benton is selling her personal property with tho intention of going to make her homo with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Flynn of Bing- hnm Canyon, Utah. Harlow Magnussen nnd Burton Reynolds took a trip up toward the hills last Saturday to look for Mrs. Meade's little black burro which was left in the care of Mrs. Magnuscn nnd wandered away. a m Mr. G. E. Griffin has sold several half lots at Sahara to tho settlers who own land in the vicinity. Tho purchasers pur-chasers are contemplating building here or moving their rnnch houses up nnd making-this their home. The club meeting on Saturday evening, eve-ning, March G, was well attended.! There was election of officers, Mr. H. O. Dougherty being re-elected pres-J ident, Mr. F. T. Howlnnd vice-president, nnd Mrs. G. E. Griffin, secretary. secre-tary. Mcssers, H. O. Dougherty, Wm. Griffin and V. M. Carlson took a trip to New Castle to buy hay. They returned re-turned with the hay but not as much as they would have liked to bring ns they found the roads bad. Mr. Carlson Carl-son brought back a good milk cow. Ho has also purchased n fine jersey cow and heifer from Mrs. L. Benton. |
