Show e OBITUARY XOTICE. Bishop Gottlieb Hirschi, of Roek-ville, Roek-ville, died at St. George, of Brights disease, January 24, 1900. Deceased was born in Switzerland January 18, 1837, joined the Latter-day Saints Church in 1S60, and came to Utah the year following. With his wife he came to Santa Clara in the early 60s, afterwards making their home in Rock-ville. Rock-ville. He filled a mission to his native country in the early 80s; and was appointed ap-pointed Bishop of Rockville in 1890, holding the appointment until his death. He leaves a wife, four Sons, and two daughters; five children having hav-ing gone before. His wife and two Counselors, J. R. Terry and Christian Larson, were with him to the end. The remains were taken to Rockville for burial. |
