Show f-aracjraplii oj? 3nterest ... Martin Conover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Conover, left the past week for Grand Canyon where he will be employed during the remainder of the summer. Mrs. Jane Stewart of this city had as her guests the past week, Mrs. Lillie Pearson of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Millie Jones of Salt Lake City. , Mr. and Mrs. O. 3. Peay and two sons, Phillip and Tommy, have returned re-turned from an enjoyable vacation the past week to Yellowstone National Na-tional Park. . Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Averett of Salt Lake City were in Springville last week, coming especially to attend at-tend the funeral services for Mr. Averett's brother, Farn Averett. Lionel's name was inadvertently omitted from the survivors in the obituary story of Mr. Averett. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Averett of Fuller-ton, Fuller-ton, Calif, were also among the visit Dr. Hopla is working in the laboratories of the zoology and entomology department at the Y. ' Mr. and Mrs. S. Virl Jones are planning to spend the Fourth week end on a fishing trip to Es-calante, Es-calante, where they will also visit relatives. They will be accompanied accompa-nied by Mr. and Mrs. Glen Baker of American Fork. Mrs. Charlotte Clements Meyers of California, has returned to her home after visiting a brother, Reed Clements, and family and other relatives and friends in Springville. Spring-ville. Dr. and Mrs. Paul Eggertsen and three children visited their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Eggert-' Eggert-' sen, and Mr. an3 Mrs. T. E. Child, the past week enroute from Washington Wash-ington to Denver, Colo, where Dr. Eggertsen, a captain in the air corps, will enroll in a specialist school. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Winfield of Tillinook, Oreg. are visiting relatives re-latives and friends in Springville. Former residents of this city, they have been away over thirty years but still have many friends here. They are also regular subscribers of the Springville Herald and have taken the paper for years. Mrs. Winfield is the former Bertha Reynolds Rey-nolds and is a sister to Mrs. Dee Miner. t out-of-town relatives in Springville Spring-ville to attend the services. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stewart and family have spent a few days vacation va-cation visiting relatives and friends on the west coast. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Torzillo and Mr. and Mrs. Don Parry spent a few days of the past week touring ,Bryces and Zion canyons. The Tor-zillos Tor-zillos are visiting in Springville from New Jersey with Marjorie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Clark, for a few weeks before going to Alaska. Dr. and Mrs. duff Hopla (Moy-ra (Moy-ra Ullock) and son are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Hopla of Mapleton and Mr. and Mrs. Abe Ullock of Springville.
