Show St. George Committee Issues Invitation to Genealogy Workers The St George Genealogical library committee Invites all of those interested In genealogy to come and do research in the library li-brary there. The library is situated sit-uated on the north side In the Temple basement. This genealogical library contains con-tains much research material, perhaps as many as 2,000 books, also census records on microfilm and a microfilm reader. There is an obituary file taken from the "Deseret News" covering several years and approximately 30 brand new books from England. A new shipment of .books and film has Just arrived and also a nurcha.se order for another shipment ship-ment of books has just been sent out. t The library has a participation plan where it will pay half on a book or film that will help anyone, provided that person pays the other half and that the book or film remains at the library li-brary at all times. The person paying half has prior right to the use of the book whenever they come to the genealogical library. This greatly helps on those books costing from $20 to $10. The library Invites all those who might own genealogical books that they have already used to cive them to the genealogical geneal-ogical library where they will be able to help many more people. peo-ple. However, the. library Cannot accept loans of books. Anyone interested in knowing If there are books available In the purchasing catalogues, on their lines, or are interested - in the participation plan, may call A?atha Mannering. Th: genealogical library is open to non-LDS as well as LDS people, as many of the great genealogies are compild by non-LDS non-LDS people. Also non-LDS people peo-ple have contributed to the purchase pur-chase of these books and film lust to have for the LDS people.
