The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and UDOT are replacing the Old Field Canal Bridge on SR-137. In accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, and 36 CFR 800, the FHWA hereby advises all interested persons/ groups that the proposed project will have an ADVERSE EFFECT on the historic Old Field Canal Bridge. The bridge is a concrete box culvert constructed in 1947, which has been determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The proposed project will replace the Old Field Canal Bridge in the same location and will demolish the historic bridge. The FHWA and UDOT have made the finding that the proposed undertaking will have an Adverse Effect.
