Show LuRae Kimber LuRae Cranney Kimber, 60, of 953 N. 300 W., Farmington, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1988 at Humana Hospital Davis North of a heart attack. She was born Dec. 13, 1927 in Oakley, Ida. , a daughter of Willard Duane and Etta Jane Maybe Cranney. She married Russell Kimber April 20, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving as a drama director, teacher and Relief Society Socie-ty president. She graduated from Brigham Young University and did graduate work for the University of Utah, Utah State University, University of Guadalajara, Mexico, San Diego State University and New York University. She had taught in the public school system for 20 years and was teaching at Layton High School at the time of her death, where she was recently given the "Most Influential In-fluential Teacher" award. Surviving are her husband of Farmington; three sons and one daughter, Duane Russell Kimber, Beaver Dam; Mrs. Mark (Jannie Lynn) Bjarnson, Fruit Heights; Mark C. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Wendall Cranney, Maraton, Fla.; Dell Cranney, Newport, Ore.; Maxin Fisher, St.. George. Services were held Jan. 16 at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary. Interment In-terment was in the Farmington City Cemetery. |
