Show To celebrate 90th Beulah May Ure Parry will celebrate cele-brate her 90th birthday. She was born in Melder, La. Jan. 26, 1898 to Andrew Harris and Sarah Crittenden, Critten-den, the tenth of 14 children and the only surviving member of that family today. In 1907 the family moved to Kelsey, Tex, then to Salt Lake City in 1916 and then to Bountiful in 1918. She has lived in Bountiful for 70 years, except for five years in Farmington. She married Thomas Lorin Ure in 1921 and had five children. He was the Bamberger Railroad Station Sta-tion Agent in Farmington until 1934 when he died. Beulah May moved back to Bountiful with her children to 257 E. 100 N. She has lived at this home to the present time. She married Clyde A. Parry, who was a pensioned miner. He passed away in 1958. She was employed by Troy Laundry, Cudahy, Wiess' Curve Inn, Bountiful Clinic, Bountiful City Hall and Sprouse-Reitz. Her life was devoted to helping and caring for other family members mem-bers and raising her children. She has 1 1 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Her longevity is t BEULAH MAY URE PARRY probably due to her sense of humor and generosity. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and needlework. A dinner in her honor will be held Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. at Duffs Restaurant, Res-taurant, 5682 S. Redwood Road. |
