Show WOMEN'S clubs, after the holiday holi-day adjournment, are resuming their meetings and making plans for the year. The majority ma-jority of the clubs begin their year in the tall, and these are taking up the last half of their programmes. A few, however, run with the calendar calen-dar year. Among the latter are two of the prominent women 's political clubs, which also are literary and social the Woman's Republican i-lub mid the Woman's Wom-an's Democratic cluh. The Woman's Republican club, which elected officers in December, will appoint its standing committees this week and submit its year's programme in a meeting tomorrow. tomor-row. The Woman's Democratic club will elect officers on Wednesday. The music section of the Ladies7 Literary Lit-erary club will meet the the club house Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Arrangements will be made for the celebration of Robert E. Lee's birthday anniversary, January 19. An evening meeting will he held on that date at the home of Mrs. W. D. Vesper services will be resumed this afternoon at the Y. W. (I. A. rooms in the Continental bank building, Mrs. W. Calhoun Ebauh being the speaker for the day. Miss Lois Castell, a teacher from Price academy of Price, Utah, will sing. The women of the First Congregational church, with Mrs. A. T. Moon in charge, will serve supper. All young women and girls are invited to be present and help make the meeting a success. The rooms have been thoroughly thor-oughly renovated during the past week and look unusually attractive. All emploved women interested in the new Y. V. C. A. club are invited to send in their names for the supper to be served at 6:30 next Thursday evening at the cafeteria.
