Show FHEDOXIA, AK1ZOXA, Frederic, the three-yeay-old son of Brothei' and Sister Douon, died on the 26th ult. The health of the people here is improving; im-proving; the scarlatina having abated, but we still have a few cases of slight colds, Sheep men are now having their sheep sheared. Stock men are gathering gather-ing their stock and driving them to better range. We are having fine weather. Trees I are beginning to leaf out. Lucern is j nice and green with prospects of a good crop. Farmers are generally busy, but j none are putting in any grain this spring, probably they will plant grain in the fall. Snow on the Buckskin mountain is going fast, and water will j be short this season unless we are blessed with more rain than we have had thus far. The mines in the Buckskin mountains are being worked with a view to shipping ship-ping ore until a mill can be erected near the mines. The ore is very rich in tapper and also carries a large per centage of silver with a trace of gold. I have seen ore that contained streaks ' of copper that appeared as if it had been melted and run into the crevices of the rock, but this class is not so plentiful as some other rich classes of 1 ore.
