Ncldlg on ilio night of the meeting on Wednesday Wednes-day March 29. There was a large attendance at-tendance both of the members of that odgo and of visiting members, there being be-ing also several from other states. Several Sev-eral were given tho Initiatory work bv Sister Ncldlg, after which an address o'f welcome was given by State Manager Brother lvlan Whitehead and Sister Neldig responded with an eloquent address ad-dress on the merits, purposes and growth of the Fraternal Brotherhood Tho members mem-bers of the lodge von' appropriately presented pre-sented to Sister Ncldlg a vcrv handsome pin made from the Utah stone, Brother Deason making tho presentation speech. Murray lodge No. 715 held an open meeting to greet Sister Neldig on Saturday Sat-urday evening at Fraternal hall, when a larg numbor of fricnd3 and visiting members wore present. A short programme pro-gramme was rendered, there being several sev-eral musical selections bv Sister Mau-son Mau-son and Mrs. F. M. McHugh. followed by a little play, "The Happy Pair." Sister Sis-ter Neldig then gave a talk, telling of her exporlences in tho work of the Fraternal Fra-ternal Brotherhood and of the good which sho had soon accomplished throughout all the jurisdiction. Ogden lodge is Initiating members every meeting night and is looking forward for-ward to Sister Ncldlg's visit next Friday. Fri-day. A large class Is promised. Tooele lodge and Garfield aro planning to give a. royal welcome to Sister Neldig and all members should be present and have their candidates ready for initiation initia-tion by the supreme vice president. Royal Highlanders. , Utah castle held another interesting session last Monday evening. Only one officer was absent, the second censor. Fair Lady Thatcher was present after a long absence due to sickness. Fair Lady Jessie Brooks transferred from tho cnstlo at. Teluride. Colo. Tho Midvalc firemen sent a vote of thanks to the drlil team for asslstanco at tho ball given recently. A prospective visit to Ogden ca-stlc was discussed. Clansman Wallace read an Interesting article on "Our Flag." It is expected that other members will assist In furnishing numbers num-bers for the good of the fraternity. The entertainment committee provided several sev-eral pounds of peanuts which were placed In a heap on tho secretary's desk and the members took turns guessing tho number of peanuts in the heap. These were afterward hidden and all joined In a mint for them. Tho prizes wero won bv Fair Lady Smith and her brother. The balance of the evening was spent eating the peanuts and talking of good times planned forv Tho entertainment this evening will be in charge of Fair Ladles Smith and Miller, which fact bespeaks be-speaks a grood time. All Royal Highlanders High-landers are invited. Meeting will be called to order at 8:15 p. m. Officers and members take notice. Modern Woodmen. Excelsion camp No. 10S92. M. W. A..-met A..-met last Tuesday evening in Its beautiful beauti-ful new lodge room. 1G1 Main, with a good attendance and every officer In his chair. Several visiting neighbors wero present from other cities and a cordial welcome was accorded them. Captain Webber and team from Great Salt Lake camp were up for a visit. There will ho no meeting on Tuesday ovenlng next. "Everybody goes to Ogden" Og-den" being the slogan for the evening. The trip is mado for tho purpose of presenting Ogden camp with tho prize banner which has been hold by Excelsior camp for over a year Train leaves at ;30 p. m. over tho Bamberger. Special rates have been secured for the camp boys. Captain Carter and his team of sixteen men will give Ogden camp a surprise. It Is desired that all members possible should make tho trip. Train returnB promptly at 11:30 p. m. All team boys aro requested to meet at the hall at 7 p. m. sharp to march to train with the banner. Lake Citv hive No. I will be held Wednesday evening, even-ing, when delegates for the national convention con-vention this summer will ho named. Tent No. 2 had a good attendance on last Thursday evening. After a splendid session the Joint committee of the two tents met to perfect plans for the entertainment en-tertainment of Supremo Commander Mackcy, who will be here on April 20. Besides a large class for the second and third degrees thorc will be a. programme rendered worth coming miles to see and hear. A full report will be given next week. Women of Woodcraft. Silver Maple clrclo No. 10S held a regular regu-lar meeting last Friday night in I. O. O. F. hall. All guards present. Thcro were visiting neighbors who were welcomed with tho clrclo honors. A motion was carried that Woodbine circle move to the Modern Woodmen hall at 1G1 South Main street, over Bamberger's coal office. Next Friday evening will be guards' drill night. Thcro will bo a special meeting called at 7 o'clock for special business and to Initiate candidates. All officers aro requested to be present, as tho guards must have tho hall at S o'clock. At last Thursday's meeting of Homestead Home-stead No. 1132, Brotherhood of American Yeomen, tho applications of Julius C. Johanscn. Harry B. Young, Elliott E. Grow, Fred Schick. James Harmon, Sherman Sher-man Davis. Ferdinand H. Jarbuck, William Wil-liam Oreen Walker. Mr. and Mrs John Hamblen wero favorably voted on. Charles H. Haws and James C. Hollc-man Hollc-man were given the first degree. Next Thursday, April 6. there will be a class of twelve to be initiated. After the business busi-ness meeting a social tlmo was enjoyed by all present. All archers are requested request-ed to be present next Thursday to help with the work. Fraternal Union of America, Evergreen lodge No. 151 had another pleasant meeting last Monday, when six new applications for benefit membership were presented and balloted upon. Another An-other class will bo Initiated April 10. and all applications under the special low dispensation will he a thing of the past. The degree team will again get busy and make every effort to put up some good work at the meeting Monday next. On account of the many changes and remodeling of tho I. O. O.
