Show REPUBLICAN CLUB TAKES OLD TITLE The Fremont club, formerly the Toung Men's Republican club, Is sgaln the Toung Men's Republican club. The Fremont club was dissolved at a meeting held in Judge Tanner's courtroom court-room last night, the old name was resumed re-sumed snd It was determined to Incorporate Incorpo-rate at once. No change was made in the official roster. The meeting wss sn Interesting one. it was presided over by Parley P. Christensen. Chris-tensen. After much diecussion It wss agreed to- require a membership fee of $1 for all new members, the old Republican club members, 460 of them, to be considered consid-ered charter members of the new corporation. corpo-ration. Provision was also msde for the appointment ap-pointment by the president of committees on permanent headquarters, on naturalization natural-ization and on excursion. It is Intended to open up clubrooms as soon aa suitable quarters may be leased, and to run an excursion to some popular resort. ... I |
