The event, which offers approximately $1200 in prizes and $800 worth of prizes in raffles, is sponsored by the Beehive Wasatch Bowhunters. There will be four ranges, located about a 2 mile from the Summit House, with 8 targets in each e range. The targets of deer, elk, ant dope, ram, and bears are made of poured foam figures which are then wrapped and glued with burlap and finally painted. Each bowhunter shoots a maximum of three arrows at each target with points awarded according to vital or non-vitareas hit. A perfect score for the shoot would be 20 points on each of the 32 targets. One of the primary reasons for life-siz- al holding the annual shoot is to afford local bowhunters, who are not members of a dub and therefore do not have the chance to practice, an event where they can get out and on targets before (xi opens later in the fall. The shoot is open to all people 16 years of age or older who wish to enter. Registration will be at the firactice Ski School building at the Resort Center. An entry fee for one day is $6 per person and $9 per couple which indudes a gondola ticket. The event begins at 11 AM on Friday and 8 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
