Show RECRUIT HEADQUARTERS FOR ENLISTMENT IN NAVY .Cnpt, John N. Wright. United States marine corps, is in tlu. city. Capt. Wright is here to take charge or the newly organized or-ganized Utah district mnrine recruiting headquarters. The new Utah district will embrace four stations In addition to the headquarters here, the offices being at Butte, Boise. Cheyenno and Ogdcn. Lieut. J. W. MeClaskey, in charge of tho Pacific coast section, arrived In the cltv Wednesday evening and officially turned the office ovor to Capt. Wright. Capt. Wright will report for duly today. to-day. When seen Wcdnesdnv he said that tho. office would be enlarged. The present pres-ent quarters are not large enough for tho amount of work. He will leave this week for Cheyenne, whore ho will establish es-tablish an office. Sub-ofllecs will he installed in-stalled at Butte and Boise. Sergeant If. W. Nale, who lias been In charge of the office here since Its Installation two months ago. has not been notified officially as lo whither he will go. but it is probablo Hint he will be paced in chargo of the recruiting orfico cither at Bolso or Cheyenne. Limit. MeClaskey will return to Snn Francisco this afternoon ami will lake back with him flvo recruits enlisted this week. At Ogden throe more men will join the party bound for Mare Island |
