One of the most delightful affairs of the week was a preltilj appointed luncheon given by Mrs. J. IT Yvitbcck in her usual charming manner in honor of Mrs. W. H. Wilkinson. Tho decora-tious decora-tious were beautiful. The pretty lablo, where covers wero laid for thirty, had for a centerpiece n largo Florentine laco picee, upon which was a large mirror mir-ror with a cut glass bowl of beautifully shaded pink La Franco roses. Out glass candelabra shaded in pink also added attractiveness to the table. In the living liv-ing room and parlor thcro wero tall cut glass vases of rich American beauty roses. A fcaturo of the afternoon was a musical programmo boautifull' given bv Mrs. Witbcek's daughters, tho Misses Joy and Alola Witbcck, after which Miss Joy Witbcck gave several interesting recitations. The hostess was assisted by her daughters, and Miss Lillian Wilkinson. Tho Woman's Missionary society of the First Presbyterian church will hold a meeting Tuesdav afternoon at the homo of Mrs. 11. G." McMillan, 610 East South Temple street, starting at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Dr. Tyndalc' will have charge, and Mrs. If. J. Dlnniny will preside. As this is the last meeting of tho year it is hoped that thero will be a full attendance. A truly charming affair of the week was the party given Wednesday evening by Miss Gertrude Moyle, complimentary to Miss Hazel Dorius, a bride of tho month. About eighteen young people, chaperoned by Mrs. Frank C. Moyle, motored down to the Cottonwood farm of James II. Moyle. and before a bonfire bon-fire told stories and sang songs to their hearts' content, with an elegant count ry supper to add zest to the entertainment. Miss Adcll Adams invited a few friends to attend a birthday party at Saltair to enjoy her fifteenth birthday, chaperoned by her aunt, Mrs. Jnmetf Terry.
