Show KN'J'KUl'Itlsl-.. We had two dances last week in the big bowery on public 'square. All went well and we had a good time, The weather is very dry, only two showers in July. The dry land crops' look fine but need water badly. The temperature on Saturday was 108 and on Sunday 100. On Sunday, the 31st ult., people ol this place went to Hebron to attend the funeral of the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Coleman; she was between be-tween five and six years old. The father is on a mission in Australia. We all feel great sympathy for the grief-stricken mother. Messrs. Marshall and Foebion, the brick burners, started work Monday morning to burn brick for our new school house, which will be 2-1 by 3(i feet. They will also burn brick for two or three dwelling houses. We expect ex-pect the school house to be finished in time for school this winter. M. J. Enterprise, Utoh, Aug. 2, 1898. |
