Brines, the lyric tenor, favored them with a number of vocal selections. Mr. Brines was in ' excellonl voice and instantly won his way to the hearts of tho students. Ho sang. "h ;i Garden," and "Telling ) Her." It was In the intorpretntion of tho j folk songs, "The Road to Roses," nnd "Richard," buth of which are Irish j heart stories, and tho Scotch song i "Leessle Lindsay ," in the Scotch dla-i lect, that Mr. Brines also shone as an Interpreter. He was enthusiastically enthusiastic-ally received. Miss Hunter was the accompanist. |
