The second, ac-compllbhed ac-compllbhed by a vote of 53 to 31, mado he bill to establish a permanent tariff board the unfinished business of tho senate to succeed tho Lorliner resold tlon. During the early morning" session ses-sion of the senate, Senator Bristow, following Senator Crawford on that subject, spoke for several hours on the Lorlmer case. Recess was taken shortly after S o'clock until 11 o'clock, and soon after aft-er reconvening at that hour the nen- .nto defeated, 51 to 03, tho resolution looking lo the popular lection of son Rtors.
