Show Very Little Diseased Fruits in Sanpete Valley Orchards County Horticultural Inspector Hans J. Brown returned last week from a trip of inspection of fruit orchards in the southern part of the valley. Mr. Brown informs us that in all the orchards he visited on the trip it was evident that the best of care is being taken of the fruits, and in one tract 10 acres of Ben Davis apples, ap-ples, owned byO.P. Washburn, near Monroe a diligent search revealed that not one wormy apple could be found in the entire orchard. It is es timated that 15,000 bushels of apples will be produced from this orchard. This speaks very well for our Sanpete San-pete Valley fruits, and the growers are to be congratulated for the excellent ex-cellent condition the orchards display. |
