Show MINERSVILLE NEWS Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Zabriskie of Milford, spent the week-end here visiting visit-ing relatives. Clarence Gillins and Henry Hale, of Cedar City, spent the week-end here visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Blackburn, of Helper, spent Sunday here visiting-friends visiting-friends and relatives. ENTERTAINS Mrs. George Davis and Mrs. John Fotheringham entertained at a party Saturday evening in honor of Mr. Fotheringham, it being his birthday. Fourteen quests were present. POLITICAL MEETING The Democrats held a Primary Monday evening to select delegates to attend the convention at Beaver Saturday. Sat-urday. The following were selected: Earl Thompson and John Eyre as delegates, de-legates, and Isadore Fotheringham and Stan Fisher as alternates-P. alternates-P. T. A. MEETS The first meeting of the Parent-Teacher Parent-Teacher Association was held Monday, October 1. The following officers' were elected: Mrs. F. D. Williams, president; Miss LuRee Bateman, vice-president: vice-president: and Mrs. Effie Marshall, secretary-treasurer. It was decided that the meeting would be held once a month-Mr. month-Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Marshall are at Cedar City receiving medical aid. The following attended reunion meeting at Beaver Sunday: Mrs. Hnl-lie Hnl-lie Murdock, Mrs. Mertin Kclsey, Lola Roberts and David Banks. Mrs. Stephen Hollingshead returned home from Cedar City Su-day, whore she has spent the past two weeks. |
