Show Salt Lake Citizen. Wounds Holdup After a desperate battle of" several minutes' , duration in which twenty shot s were fired -J. S. Morrison who conducts a grocery at 470-472 South First West street, pt to flight three-masked three-masked highwaymen who had; entered his store at 6:30 o'clock Mon. night for the purpose of holding up the place. One of the bandits was seriously se-riously and perhaps fatallyr wounded, and was carried away by his companions. Morrison himself was shot through the right hand, while another bullet grazed his left leg just above the knee. A third bullet parted, his hair immediately in the center cen-ter of his head. A trail of blood, was left by the wounded bandit and was followed to Second West and Third South streets, where it was lost in an alley. The hold ups have not beec apprehended.
