Ht 3 o'clock and simple services at the .. home at 10 o'clock last Friday, honors I ,' were paid to the memory of Mrs. Mary i I ' Judge, and the body was buried at Mt. s, Olivet cemetery shortly before noon. ' Mass was said at 7:30 at the cathedral by the Rev. Father Dennis Kiely, and requiem mass was celebrated by the Rt. ' Rev. Lawrence Scanlan, bishop of Salt j ; ; Lake, at 9 o'clock. The music at this j -1 service was most impressive. Miss Nora J : Oleason at the organ playing "Dies ' Irae." "The Libera" and "The Kyrie" j from the Gregorian requiem. Mrs. I ' O'rinne Hammer and Miss Alice Far- j ' II sang "Stabat Mater," by Pales- ! : trina. arid "Nearer, My God, to Thee." ' and Mrs. Hammer sang "O Salutaris," ' by J. Louis Browne. In celebrating mass, Bishop Scanlan was assisted by .. j , f ight acolytes. I; Only members of the family and inti- : mate friends attended the service at j .he home, and this consisted simply of I , 'he Roman Catholic ritual service for j ! the dead, read by Bishop Scanlan.
