Show the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Cherry. o The Social Circle Club were enjoy-ably enjoy-ably entertained at the home of Mrs. Walter Humphreys last Wednesday afternoon. Twenty-five guests were present and Progressive Five Hundred Hun-dred was played. Mrs. J. W. Jones won the first prize and Mrs. William Metcalf second honor. At 5 o'clock a delicious lunch was served by the hostess. o Mrs. J. W. Edwards delightfully entertained forty-two of her intimate friends at a dinner party at the Edwards Ed-wards home last Sunday evening. The table was decorated with beautiful beau-tiful cut flowers. Mrs. Edwards was assisted in serving by Misses Leona and Vera Edwards. o Mrs. Alma Fredrickson entertained entertain-ed some thirty of her friends at a birthday dinner party at her home last Monday evening. At seven o'clock a big dinner was served and following follow-ing this the guests were entertained with games and music. Among the outside guests were Mr. and Mrs. Quince Crawford, parents of Mrs. Fredrickson, from Salt Lake. Mrs. Fredrickson was. the recipient of many beautiful and useful presents. j Society j Mrs. C. M. Madsen delightfully entertained en-tertained a number of her friends at an afternoon party last Monday. Progressive Pro-gressive Five Hundred was the diversion di-version for the afternoon and Mrs. Julius duggins was winner of the first prize, while the second was awarded to Mrs. Eva Jensen. The 3 6 guests were served a delicious lunch at which Miss Christie Madsen and Katy McKenna assisted the hostess in serving. The members of the Viro club were the guests of Miss Thelma Willard-son Willard-son last Monday evening. The evening even-ing was spent in doing fancy work and playing games, after which refreshments re-freshments were served. Miss Ethel Jensen will have the club members as her guests next Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Metcalf were host and hostess to the members of the Tuesday evening club this week. In the contest at Five Hundred Mrs. William Metcalf won the ladies' favor while that of the gentlemen went to Ira Overl'elt. Mrs. Metcalf served her guests with a delicious lunch at 10 o'clock. Next Tuesday evening the club -will hold its last meeting of the season ai:d the members will be |
