Ho received his curly training lu the public schools and was graduated at the Utah Agricultural Collcgo with the II. S. degree in 19lo. Ho specialized special-ized In ciitymology and horticulture. Upon graduation ho was employed by tho Agricultural Collcgo board to superintend tho experimental tarm at St. George. He occupied this position ror two years, during which tlmo ho wrote scvernl bulltlns on tho results or his experiments. Two or theso bulletins bul-letins have been very popular with tho farmers or the state. Ono of theso was entitled "Variety Tests." and tho other "Hloomlug Periods." Farmers' organizations should at rfnee be organized lu Pleasant Orovo, Lehl, Ameiicaii Fork and Alpine, do as to more closely co-opcrato with Mr. llallaiityuc, and thus bring his work closer to tho farmers and fruit growers of this section. |
