Show THE LAND SHOW. The Utah exhibit at the land show last week at Ixs Angeles iittriirt'-d more attention than that from any other state. The exhibit consisted of grains, fruits and alfalfa from the dry and Irrigated lands of Ul.ih, and an abundance of descriptive literature. Millard was the only county which had speclul literature of Its own, and the several thousand copies of the Chion-Iclle Chion-Iclle sent for distribution were eagerly taken by prospective lain! buyeis. Utah had the best exhibit of fruit of Hiiy state, and It was an eye-opener to those who thought that the northwestern north-western slates were the only fruit raising country In the west. The Salt I. like Route has made the hpecia! rate of one fare plus two dollars dol-lars from Los Angeles to all points In Utah west of Litiudyl. These rates are in effect from April 1st to April Kth Inclusive. This excursion will doubtless bring many land buyers to Utah, and Millard County will no iloubt get the largest share of them. The various commercial bodies of the county should he In readiness lo give the visitors a royBl reception. J. Kd-ward Kd-ward Taylor, the stale horticultural Iri-Hpcrtor, Iri-Hpcrtor, has wired the Commercial Club at Salt Lake that one party of fifty Is on its way to look up Utnh lands. |
