Show HOLDEN. John Wood, Chronicle Representative. Holidays passed otT very pleasaintly. The evenings have been spent alternately alter-nately between dancing and basket ball. All the students attending school were home, besides quite a number of old friends and relatives An old people's party was held December JiKth. A meeting was held at 10 a. m. and a tine program whs rendered, after which tables were set for all people over fit) years, together with all strangers and visitors. II seemed to enjoy themselves. The junior basket ball team of Cuk City was over on Thursday evening tor the purpose of defeating our Junior team, but they undercytimated the ubility of our team and met defeat- with scores of 22 to 20 in favor ot Hidden. Afler the above game was concluded, con-cluded, thu Oak City boys selected a team consisting of their senior and junior team und Fillmore's crack center player, and this team also met del. at at the hands of our senior team.
