' Instruction begins but Freshmen still enrolling. First Assembly. President Smith takes charge. He points out three essentials to happiness: Work, appreciation of beauty, and social intelligence. For the first time in the history cf our class there are more boys than girls. The party is excellent. October 11 October 18 Founders Day. Dixies Silver Anniversary is celebrated as follows: Parade representing growth in different departments; program summing up history of the school and giving tribute to the Founders; barbecue at the square. Three oclock football game with B. A. C. Score? Oh well, B. A. C. wins. Perhaps the birds oer head are an cmen? October 20 October Deer Season. Halloween program.
