Yon have much to give your community in input As retirees yon have the concern for all the groups of our community. The young married people with small children have your concern (as your children or grandchildren). The middle group, you see as the ones who are maintaining the "status crao". And then as retirees yon have the knowledge and experience of life's teachings. Combine mat wnn your occupation before retiring and you could lend tremendous growth potential to Beaver County. At the meetings of the different boards, decisions are being made that change taxes, the health of the community and even the future 01 Main Street. There is to much difference in the actual dialogue that takes place and the term "aner discussion". Also, another "the bills were presented and approved for payment". There are several "boards" in town. City Council, 'Planning and Zoning, County Commissioners, The School Board and The Hospital Board that are very important All are open to the. people. Many decisions are being made, dkisions important to your well being, singularly as well as part ! the community. No one should teei tney are omnipotent and power unobserved, can get out of hand. There is work to be done and it cant be to soon. The voice of the people must be heard. Attend the meetings, voice your opinion, change what yon feel is detrimental to the growth of Beaver County. Remember the "Power of the P eople". You have the last word. The Beaver Press and the Beaver County News believes decisions that are being made now are helping to destroy downtown Beaver and Milford or the heart of a community. It is up to you, the people, to decide. Come to the meetings, become informed of everything, voice your opinion, make sure your vote is recoenized. If it is not voice it with your vote at the next election. We had four beautiful baby girls blessed first Stacy Marshall was blessed Saturday night and her father Bishop Kent Marshall confirmed her Sunday, then Trisa Carter was belssed by her grandfather Merle Yardley, she is the daughter of Rodney and LuAnn Carter, and grandchild of Dean and Dona Carter & Merle and Leola Yardley. Then Whiteny Ranae Marshall was blessed by her father Thayne, she is the daughter of Thayne and Jana Marshall, grandparents are Hayward and Edith Marshall. Then Michelle Ashley Bailey was blessed by her father, parents are Larry k Lori Bailey, grandparents are Mr. k Mrs. John Bailey.
