The stickers were given free of charge to homes with children and to homes where invalids or people who have moving disabilities live. The purpose of these stickers, "when placed in the window where a ' child or invalid sleeps, is to give a fireman instant notice that special ; :. if'- , -- multiple bedrooms. If you would feel safer, a good idea is to pick up a sticker in the letter "C" on it and place it so the "C" is upside down. The sorority adopted 5 miles on the highway from milepost 72 to milepost 77 to keep litter free three times a year. Twenty members of the sorority together to undertake this project on Saturday, May 5. Our goal is to make the entrance to Milford litter free. The group worked picking up trash for four hours on this day. We picked up trash for approximately 3 miles and hauled over 100 heavy sacks of garbage to the dump. This will be our closiiig social. We've had a great time in Sorority this year with several fund raisers, socials and programs and we look forward to an active year ahead with new president, Trudy Smith.
