Mr. and Mrs. George Collard of Salt Lake City visited during the week with Mrs. Collard's parents. Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Jensen. The following were present: Etta Hanson, Han-son, Nelda Mikkelson, Izola Jacob-sen, Jacob-sen, Hanna Ivory, Lenna Johnson. Cajr.ille Olsen. Adria Jacobsen, and Mildred Allred. A very enjoyable time was spent and a dainty luncheon lunch-eon was served. Mrs. Ellen Yorgason and daugh ter, of Wyoming are visiting relatives ana. friends in Fountain Green. Mrs. Leona Duncan of Salt Lake City is a guest at the hctxe of Mrs. Luvina Aagard. The Moroni Stake Primary held their "Stake Day" in the Fountain Green Ward Chapel, Tuesday, August Aug-ust 15th with the different wards of -the Stake boing well represented. Mrs. Vern Lee Davis recently returned re-turned home frci.ra a two months vacation in the east. Her stay in New YcTk was especially espe-cially attractive, where she visited her sister, Mrs. Max D. Bown and her uncle, Mr. Irvin L. Scott. Mr. Scott is the chief construoticn -architect at the Worlds Fair. En route to New York she spent three weeks wit. her brother, Mr. Lee S. -encer in Washington D. C. She -was acccixpaniei by her mother, Mrs. Ethel Spencer wlho is commercial com-mercial teacher at the Provo High School. Mrs. Caroline LleWellyn has returned re-turned heme having spent the past two -months in Ely, Nevada visiting her son, Rees . T ie Hoggins reunion will be held at Fairmont Park, Salt Lake City, August 20thi. All descendants are kindly invited to attend. Mrs. Jack Ockey of Salt Lake City is visiting her mother, Mrs. Mary A. Mikkelson, for a few days. Mrs. Lizzie Elder Porness left Wednesday for 'her bctme in Honolulu Hono-lulu after a two- months visit here with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. ar.ict Mrs. Arthur Edler. Out of town guests who came to honor Mrs. Dorthea Mikkelson on her 85th birthday anniversary were her daughter and son in lativ, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Livingston and the f allowing grandchildren all of Spanish Span-ish Fork: Mrs. June Fullxore and Mrs. Burnell Livingston and children. |
