Show Life of Aviafrix Reviewed at Club The autobiography of Jacqueline Jacque-line Cochrane, "Stars a Noon," was told for members of the Modem Mod-em Mothers club by Mrs. Roy Anderson at their regular meeting meet-ing Wednesday evening. The story of perseverance from a humble beginning in poverty and with little schooling to one of the prominent pro-minent women of the world and a foremost woman figure in American Am-erican aviation provided an evening eve-ning of great interest. Mrs. Anderson An-derson also told something of the life of Floyd Odium, husband of the famous aviatrix, and showed pictures which added to the reality real-ity of the program. Refreshments were served by the hostess to 12 members and the guest, and plans were made for th next meting which will be a party for the husbands on the lawn of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schreiver. |
