Show H. A. Cheever were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nicholson and daughter of Midvale. Elsie, Connie and Lynn Stoker were guests Saturday in Bingham at a birthday party given in honor hon-or of Russell Booth. A slumber party was given Thursday evening at the home of Doris Poulson. Present were Lucille Lu-cille Peterson, Marlene Diede-rich, Diede-rich, Rea Armitstead and Pat Colyar. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Armitstead visited in Salt Lake City Friday with Mrs. Martin Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lewis and family. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray OLsen were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robison of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Cheever visited Wednesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Anderson of Orem. Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Stoker and family were Mrs. Anne Stoker and Mr. and Mrs. Gam Stoker, all of Salt Lake City. A Junior Rose tea was held Tuesday evening in the Copper-ton Copper-ton ward chapel for all 'iunior girls and their mothers. A lovely program was presented which included in-cluded a piano duet by Barbara Coward and Margy Isbell; vocal solo by Doris Poulson; a poem by Lucille Peterson; vocal solo by Margene Barlow; a short talk by Maurine Peterson; piano solo by Karlene Wilson; vocal duet, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Bolton and Barbara, and presentation of the junior pamphlet pam-phlet by Margene Barlow and Marlene Diederich. Presentation of roses to Mrs. Milton Lancaster was by Gerry Gammell. Lovely refreshments were served under direction of junior supervisors, Mrs. Sadie Swainston and Mrs. Edith Garrett. : COPPERTON : Lucille Peterson 562W Roslyn Hansen 627J A birthday dinner was given Sunday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Arlene Cheever of Salt Lake City at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever. Others present pres-ent were Jay Cheever and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Peterson, both of Salt Lake City. Visiting teachers meeting in Copperton wardhouse will begin at 1.15 p.m. under the leadership of Mrs. Elizabeth Cox and the theology meeting will begin at 2 o'clock under the leadership of Mrs. Ada Curtis. Week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever was Mrs. Allen Peterson of Salt Lake City. A party was held Friday even ing at the home of Beverly Allen. Enjoying the fun were Norma Cowdell, Maurine Ray and Donna Don-na Rae Olsen. Mr. and Mrs. David O. Stoker, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Haiker and Mr. and Mrs. Frank LuComb enjoyed en-joyed dancing at the Avalon Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever Cheev-er were dinner guests Tuesday in Salt Lake City at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wilcox and Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Wilcox of Midvale entertained Thursday evening at a delightful dinner party. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olsen and daughters, daugh-ters, Karen and Donna Rae, all of Copperton and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robison of Salt Lake City. The dinner was in honor of Mrs. Christensen,- Mrs. Olsen and Mrs. H. F. Wilcox, who were celebrating celebrat-ing their birthday anniversaries. Table appointments followed a Halloween theme and the centerpiece center-piece was a lovely birthday cake. The three honored guests received receiv-ed lovely gifts. Mrs. Leonard E. Pierce and son Doug of Brigham City were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Diederich Diede-rich and family visited in Salt Lake City Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Boelter. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. |
