Show MASONS CONDUCT SERVICES The funeral of Edwin M 11 LeProhon was held in Masonic hall han at 2 yester yesterday yesterday day da afternoon Mr lIr Le death resulted from a tick bite sustained while he lie was In Idaho a few feW weeks ago He was brought to Salt Lake suffering from front froman fromn an am n aggravated case cae of blood poisoning Medical skill ski was unavailing The de deceased deceased deceased ceased was a Mason belonging to Mount Moriah Moniah lodge of Salt Lake The services were conducted along Masonic lines Rev Rey Benjamin Young Young pastor of the First Methodist church of this city cit preached the sermon bermon The deceased was wa also a member of George R Maxwell Maxwel post post G GA GA GA A A R and this organization or was represented represented at the services s by b a large num nurn number ber bero of veterans The musical portion of the services was wa furnished by the Mount Moriah lodge directed by b II H Peabody senior warden The cortege was headed by G 0 A R veterans nearly nearh 10 strong strong in uniform These were followed by members of Mount Moriah lodge in funeral regalia Carriages and special street cars carried and friends of the deceased relatives to Mt Olivet Olvet cemetery where a a short ser service service service vice was held at the grave grae At the close cose of the usual Masonic ceremonies the G GA GA GA A R H veterans conducted a short service The deceased was wa born in Providence R B R I 1 in 1846 His father was wa Dr Le LeProhon Ie LeProhon at that time French consul He came to Utah fifteen years ers ago ag and has been following engineering continuously since that time He wa was deputy mineral surveyor at the time tIme of his death A wife and son survive |
