Show Funeral Held For Arvid Johnson Funeral services for Arvid Johnson, John-son, well known resident of western west-ern Beaver county' for a good many years, were held Wednesday afternon at the L. D. S. chapel, w-ith Bishop M. J. Christensen in charge. Mr. Johnson had died Monday morning at 6:00 o'clock at his home in South Milford. He was a native of Finland but .'ame to America as a carpenter some 35 years ago, later working in the mines of this section. Speakers at the services were former Bishop W. A. Miller of Beaver, Bea-ver, F. D. Williams of Minersville and Bishop Christensen. The opening op-ening and closing prayers were offered of-fered by Alvin H. Baker and Leonard Leon-ard Banks while Bishop Christensen Christen-sen offered the dedicatory prayer at the local cemetery, where interment inter-ment took place. Musical numbers consisted of a vocal duet by Messrs. Christensen and Baker and vocal solos by Mr. Christensen and Vance Fisher. ,i |
