Puett, the former for-mer an auditor for the Shell Oil company, com-pany, were in Milford over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Puett are from Salt Lake City. ( Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Saunders, pub-! pub-! lishers of the Beaver Press at Beaver Beav-er were Milford visiters Monday. Mrs. W. A. Mcintosh and Mrs. E. D. Young spent the week end in Sait Lake City. Bill Peer is spending the Christmas Christ-mas holidays in Milford, back from attending Torrence Military Academy Acad-emy at Torrence, California. He will be home about ten days. Mr. Whittwer, county superintendent, superinten-dent, and Mrs. Whittwer were visitors visit-ors in Milford on Monday of this week. Mrs. W. F. Sterling and daughter Rose came in from Caliente Tuesday for a short visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Cochrane. While here Mrs. Stirling attended the installation in-stallation of officers of The Eastern Star, Tuesday night. Wednesday morning Mrs. Stirling and daughter left for Salt Lake City. Mrs. Lottie Smyth returned to Milford Saturday from Salt Lake City, where she had spent the past two months. J. H. Carter was admitted to the Milford hospital on Tuesday, where he will receive treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Langenbacker are planning to leave Saturday for California, where they will spend the Christmas holidays, visiting with friends and relatives. Bill Cochrane, who is working on his Masters degree at Occidental college in Los Angeles, California, arrived in Milford Sunday to spend the Christmas holidays with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. William Cochrane. H. T. Hanks, proprietor of the Milford Mil-ford Hotel is leaving Thursday of this week for Los Angeles, where he will visit over the holidays with his wife and daughter. Mrs. Walt Vincent and son, Art spent the week end in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Frank Roberts of Minere-ville, Minere-ville, who underwent a minor operation oper-ation at the Milford hospital Sunday was able to return to her home Tuesday. Tues-day. Mrs. John Ryan and son H. P. Ryan of Burbank, were in Milford on business the fore part of this week. Miss Frieda Koch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch came home Sunday Sun-day from Salt Lake City, where she is a student at Westminster college. Miss Koch will spend her Christmas vacation here with her parents. Mr. M. G. Barlow of Salt Lake City was in Milford on Tuesday of this week. Miss Beth Colemaa, a student at Westminster college in Salt Lake City arrived in Milford on Monday and will spend the Christmas holidays holid-ays with her parents. Bishop George Hays of Burbank was in Milford on Monday renewing old acquaintances. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Morley former residents of Milford but for the past two years living in Caliente, have returned re-turned to Milford and will make their home here in the future. Earl Stonehocker left Monday for Ogden, where he will visit for sever-j sever-j al days with relatives. J Roy Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. ; G. R. Rogers returned from Glen-dale, Glen-dale, California Monday and will t spend the Christmas holidays here with his parents. ! Mrs. H. M. Hearn and daughter, ' Ethel were among the Milford residents res-idents who vjsited over the week-end in Salt Lake City. |
