Show THUS SLATER IS TO BE BURIED 011? The funeral of Thomas Slater will bo held Sunday at 12 o'clock noon, from the Slatcrvillo meeting house and interment will be in the Ogden City cemetery. The body may be viewed at the residence in Slaterville, from tomorrow morning until tho hour of the funeral. Mr. Slater, who was 82 years old, died Tuesday night at tho Deo hospital, hos-pital, following Injuries received In a fall from a ladder. He was a pioneer-resident pioneer-resident of Slaterville, having settled there in 1SG1. The town of Slaterville was named after him. He is survived by his wife, who bore him twelve children, tho follow, ing of whom survive: John Slater, Mary E. wife of Reuben Stnnger: Will-iam Will-iam Jesse and Richard A. Slater; Anna A., wife of Harry Sharp; Nellie, Nel-lie, wifo of Ezra Richardson; James R. and Charles E. Slater; Pearl, wifo of Harry Lyons, Idaho Falls, and Edna, wife of Oscar Kirkland. His son Thomas Slater, and daughter Ke-turah, Ke-turah, wife of Alfred J. Palmer died several years ago. He is also survived by a brother, Bishop James Slater of Slaterville, and the following sisters: Mrs. Mary Stevens, of Slaterville; Mrs. Priscilla Cowan, of Slatorville; Mrs. Margaret Bybee, of Monan, Ida.; Mrs. Rachel Foy, of Slatorville; Mrs. Ann Read, of Ogden, and Mrs. Lizzie Conroy, of Ogden. oo |
