Emmons were Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers Rog-ers and family, Mr. and Mrs. Le-Roy Le-Roy Thacker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen, Mr. and Mrs.. Ben Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker furnished the music. Lawrence Givens is home on a furlough. He will return to camp soon. Rulon Powell who has suffered suffer-ed severly with an eye injury, finally lost his eye. He is out of the hospital and now with his mother. Altamont's graduation program pro-gram was held Thursday evening. even-ing. A large crowd attended and a group of 24 graduated. A speaker from Provo was here. Many folk dances were danced by 7, 8, 9, and 11 grade girls. A shower was given in honor of Mrs. Thomas Richards at Mt. Home. Those present from Mt. Emmons were Mrs. LeRoy Thacker, Mrs. Wesley Thacker, Miss Vera and June Rogers, Miss Delma Thacker and the infant daughter of Mrs. Wesley Thacker. Thack-er. Mrs. Thomas Richards left for Salt Lake where her husband is stationed at Fort Douglas. She expects to return soon. Grant Monson was taken to Salt Lake recently for medical care. Melwood Wall writes home from a Fox Hole in New Guinea. This is the first they have heard from him for a long time. Lavon Atwood and family have moved to Bluebell where he purchased the Wm.
