The air show together with displays of modern military equipment are part of a new look for the day honoring the nations military men, said Maj. Gen. Maurice L. Watts, Utah Adjutant General. Gen Watts said the decision not to schedule the usual military parade was due to limited crowd attendance the past few years. The small crowds really havent focused community attention on Armed Forces Day like we would like to see, he nologists. What will the water emperatures be? How much turbidity will the reservoir have and what will the food produc tion be like? What type of fish will survive and grow well in the new body of water? These and other biological or limnological questions often take several years to answer. New reservoirs undergo changes, and it often takes several years to establish a definite pattern. Page Three Gunlock Reservoir in Washington county is a good example. Preliminray studies indicate that this reservoir will probably be best suited for warm water species. Largemouth bass and black crappie will be stocked in the reservoir this year, and plans are to open it to year round angling Jan. 1, 1972. It is too early to predict what fish growth and angling success might be, but fishery biologists are hopeful that this new impoundment will become a significant adddition to the fishery of the area. the modem woman at home or at the office added.
