This country is on the verge of decay and chaos and revolution. More and more Gods people will have to endure great trial; but how wonderful it is to know that although beset on every hand, we are also hedged about with Gods protection and power. Before Israel crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land, Moses said to his people: God has told me that I am not to cross over this Jordan with you, and there is something I must say to you. When you come into the land, you will find that God is with you there and that He will do to your enemies there the same that He has done to all your enemies of the past to Sihon and Og, kings of the Amorites. and to the land of them, whom he destroyed (Deuteronomy 31). Then he admonished Joshua and the Fear not Be people to strong and of good cour.-ge- . The Lord goes before you. He will be with you, He will not fail you, and He will not forsake you. Christian friend, the Lord always goes before you; and He is always with you. The I have set the Esalmist said, before me: because he is at my right nand, I shall not be moved (Psalm 16:8). David set God up as his Guide, his Lord, and his Commander. When the commander moves, it is the business of the army to move along. David followed where God led. Having set the Lord always before him, David found that the Lord was on his right hand. If you will put God before you. He will stand with you. No matter what may come, God knows about it not only while it is happening, but also before it happens. And He never forsakes you or fails you. He is faithful to His promises. All you have to do Is live close to Him and obey His Word. Released by the Gospe Fellowship Association |
