OBITUARY Died March 24lh 1SSG Mrs Marinda N Hyde widow of tha late Apostle Orson Hyde and daughter of John and Eha Johnson ShUj was born in Pom fret Windsor County Vermont June 28th 1815 She emigrated with her parents to the then wilds of Western Reserve in Ohio when but 3 years of age thus starting early on her pioneer lite When about 16 years of age she and the most of her fathers family embraced I em-braced the gospel and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints under the ministration of the martyred Prophet Joseph Smith She was married in September 1831 and shr d the trials and persecutions of the Saints with her husband in Kirt land Ohio and in Nauvoo llls After the expulion from Nauvoo she resided at Kjnosville until the spring of 1852 whence sine emifirateo with her husband and cbillfen to Salt Lake where she hassince reti led When the Female Relief Societies were organized in the I ward of thi city Sister Hyde was ap jiointed president of the society in the Seventeenth Ward which office she filled with credit to herself and benefit I to nthel WI her demise She bore the < trials o lifc1whlchtel1 to her tOt ad I tllI were nO fes undomrlJnng y fShe leave twt olln nnnl 1 r IIptcr I to mourn In r i an diC I the mourn for thu loved and loving mother I and the true and wise friend and comforter com-forter they feel that a noble and pure spirit has gone to receive the grant reward re-ward from Him whodoeth all thingi well2 Kunrral services s over the reniaii 01 Sister Hyde wil be held in the beyec terntu Ward Schoolhouseat2oclocK 1 I PM Friday Marcli 2Gth 1SSGH011
